Beer Sheva, Israel. 2013 - 500 sqm

 

The project include complete planning, design and construction supervision on the Beer Sheva bouldering hall.

 

The challenge in designing artificial bouldering walls lies in the need to simulate the special look and feel of a real rock boulder, while maintaining a unique and structurally- feasible plan.

 

Due to budgetary constrains, the complex design had to fit low-tech construction with simple wooden structure on the site itself. Thanks to the detailed plan and the close interaction with the builders, the intricacy of the design was not affected.

 

The complex includes; reception & bar, dressing rooms, seating area, climbing area, climbing area for kids and a garden. The work included designing all the elements and furniture in the hall.
