The physical space in Jaffa represents an attempt to erase an historical layer and tell a different story; to erase the Arab-Palestinian past and recount the Jewish-Zionist narrative. The result of this conflict is the creation of a new story, stronger than the two conflicting narratives that created it, the story of the deletion, a “non-story”.
